The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest T20 player rankings, with Pakistan’s star cricketers Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi witnessing a decline in their standings.
According to the updated rankings, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has dropped one place to the eighth position in the T20 batting rankings. Meanwhile, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has suffered a major setback, falling six spots to 30th in the bowling rankings.
Top T20 Batting Rankings
Australia’s Travis Head continues to dominate the T20 batting rankings, holding the top spot. He is followed by India’s Abhishek Sharma in second place and England’s Phil Salt in third. India’s Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav secure the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
Other notable rankings include:

- 7th – Pathum Nissanka (Sri Lanka)
- 8th – Babar Azam (Pakistan)
- 9th – Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan)
- 10th – Kusal Perera (Sri Lanka)
New Zealand’s Tim Seifert has made a remarkable jump, climbing 20 places to 13th, while Finn Allen has moved up eight spots to 18th.
Pakistan’s Struggle in Bowling Rankings
No Pakistani bowler is currently featured in the top 20 of the ICC T20 bowling rankings. Among Pakistani pacers, Haris Rauf has gained four places to reach 26th, while Shaheen Afridi’s six-spot drop places him at 30th.
West Indies’ Akeal Hosein continues to lead the T20 bowling rankings, maintaining his position at the top.
