Showbiz star Sonya Hussyn is among them, expressing her disappointment by revealing that Babar Azam is no longer her favorite cricketer.
During a special transmission on a private TV channel for the Champions Trophy, Sonya was asked about her favorite player. She responded, “Babar Bhai used to be my favorite, but not anymore.” She further mentioned that she has a new favorite cricketer but couldn’t recall his name.
While discussing past cricketing legends, Sonya praised former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, saying, “He has a unique identity — even today, he stands out among the players.”
